It all started in 1996 when our family of four moved to Central PA. I purchased a tiny window feeder to put outside the kid’s playroom window. Soon there were visiting birds I had never seen before. I needed a book! It didn’t take long to log my first ID, a Brown-headed Cowbird. Wow, I thought, how awesome is that?
People chuckle when I tell them my ‘a-ha’ bird was a Brown-headed Cowbird.
Fast forward to twenty years later -
Honey Creek Bill & Beak opens to supply you with everything you’ll need to experience the wonder of birds, with a full line of seeds, feeds, houses, boxes and field guides. We also carry an excellent selection of binoculars and spotting scopes. If we don’t have what you’re looking for, let me know. My bird book is pretty worn and tattered now, but still well-used…
